Patricia Elmes Farley has been making art-to-wear clothing since 1981. The batik designs are inspired by motifs from the 50's, at a time of great optimism and creativity, when butterfly chairs and boomerangs seemed to be everywhere. The colors are from dreams and visions about the beauty of everyday objects.
